Senior Charlie Meade of the men's cross country team turned in
an excellent performance at the 24th annual Griak
Invitational, finishing first on the team and third overall out of
370 runners with an 8K time of 25:42. Meade's effort helped
the No. 16-ranked Eagles to a third-place finish out of 35 teams at
one of the premier cross country competitions in the nation which
was held in Minneapolis.
Emory recorded 113 points and finished behind only No.2-ranked
UW-La Crosse (48 pts.) and No. 8-ranked UW-Platteville (81 pts.).
