Senior Charlie Meade helped the Eagles to a
second-place tie at the 23rd Annual University Athletic Association
Championships. Meade led the Emory pack and crossed the
finish line in third place out of 80 entries with an 8K time of
26:20.
Meade's performance marked the second time in four competitions
this season that he ranked as the Eagles' top runner and also
enabled him to claim First Team All-UAA honors.
Emory finished tied with Carnegie Mellon as each team totaled 67
points. NYU claimed the top spot with 41 points.
The 12th-ranked Eagles return to action on Nov. 14 when they
compete in the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championships in
Greensboro, NC.
