Sophomore Hank Ashforth
helped Emory to a second-place finish out of 15 teams at the Berry
College Invitational. Ashforth was the squad’s top
performer and crossed the finish line in 13th place out
of 133 entries with a personal-best 8K time of 26:40. His
effort marked the first time in his brief career that he paced the
Emory contingent in a race. The Eagles posted a team score of
70 points and trailed only Shorter University’s 40
points.
