Senior Geraint Davies was Emory’s top
performer at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championships and in
the process earned an at-large bid to the NCAA D-III
Championships. Davies crossed the finish line in ninth place
overall out of 174 entries with an 8k effort of 26:40. By
virtue of his finish, he landed All-South/Southeast Region honors
for the first time in his career. It was the third time in
2011 that he had finished as Emory’s top runner.
