Sophomore Eddie Mulder helped the Eagles to a
first-place finish out of 10 teams at the Jacksonville State
University Foothills Invitational, posting a team-best 8k time of
26:54 that placed him 10th overall in the 94-runner
field. Mulder’s performance helped Emory post a
meet-best 85 points, eight points better than Division II Columbus
State’s total of 93 points. Mulder has been the
squad’s top runner in two of the three competitions he has
raced in this fall.
