Junior (2011):
Competed in four events ... Turned in a season-best 8K mark of 27:19 that was fifth on the team and and 74th overall out of 309 runners at the Southeast Classic ... Posted a 27:49, 32nd out of 94 entries at the JSU Foothills Invitational ... Also raced at the Sewanee Invitational (29:28) and Berry College Invitational (28:37).


Freshman (2009):
Took part in four competitions ... Best 8K time was a 29:03 at the University of the South Invitational (Sept. 5) that placed him 50th out of 123 runners ... Also ran at the UGA Invitational (Sept. 19), Foothills Invitational (29:08) and quaker Invitational (Oct. 17).

Prior to Emory: Earned three letters as a member of the cross country and track and field programs at Berea High School ... Was coached by Barb Hunter ... Best 5K time was 17:10 as a senior ... Ran a 4:42 in the 1,600 meters ... Also played baseball and golf while in high school.

Personal: Born March 13, 1991 ... Was valedictorian of his high school class
