Freshman (2010):
Ran in four competitions during the year ... Top 8k time was a 29:24 at the Sewanee Invitational ... Second-best time was a 29:29 at the Royal Cross Country Challenge ... Also ran in the Berry College Invitational and the JSU Foothills Invitational.

High School:
Four-year member of the cross country and track and field teams at Pinecrest Academy ... Was coached by Meghan Hoover ... Served as both team's captain his senior year ... Top 5K time in 2009 was a 17:13 ... Also ran the 3200, 1600 and 800 meters in track ... Was named the program's Most Valuable Runner his final year ...
