No. 4 Emory finisher and 41st overall out of 89 entries at the JSU Foothills Invitational (29:51) ... Also ran at the Sewanee Invitational and the Berry College Invitational.

Freshman (2009):
Hit the trail in three events ... Turned in a season-best time of 28:42 at the Foothills Invitational (Oct. 10) ... Finished 27th out of 68 runners at the Quaker Invitational with a time of 29:35.

Prior to Emory: Earned four letters in cross country and a total of 12 at Floyd Kellam high School when factoring in both indoor and outdoor track ... Was coached by Bill Bernard ... Served as a captain his junior and senior seasons ... Was named co-MVP of the cross country team on two occasions ...
