Freshman Lukas Mees topped the Emory effort at the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Championships.
Mees recorded a 14th-place preformance out of 160 runners, turning in a time of 26:30, his second-best showing of the campaign. Lukas was one of four Eagles to earn all-region acclaim.
By virtue of his finish, Mees captured an at-large bid to compete as an individual at the NCAA Championships, Nov. 17, in Terre Hauate, Indiana.
