Junior (2013):
Scored for the Eagles in six of the seven competitions he took part in ... Brought home all-region acclaim after clocking a personal-best 8K time of 25:41 at the NCAA South/Southeast Championships that ranked second on the team and 15th overall out of 174 runners ... Recipient of the team's Most Improved Runner Award ... USTFCCCA All-Academic honoree ... Ranked among Emory's top three finishers in five races ... First Eagle to cross the finish line and was 41st out of 289 entries in the Blue Race of the Greater Louisville Classic with a time of 26:36 ... Third on the squad and 41st in a 283-runner field at the Oberlin Inter Regional Rumble with his effort of 26:25 his second-fastest 8K time. 

Sophomore (2012):
Competed in five events ... Ranked among the Eagles' top five runners on two occasions including the JSU Foothills Invitational (Oct. 5) where he paced the Emory pack with a career-best 8k time of 27:02, good for 15th place overall out of 67 runners ... Emory's No. 3 finisher and 12th out of 132 contestants at the Viking Open (Oct. 13) with an 8k showing of 27:20 ... Also took part in the UAA Championships (Oct. 27), Gulf Coast Stampede (Sept. 22) and the Georgia State Invitational (Sept. 8).

Freshman (2011):
Took to the course in five meets his rookie season ... Top 8K performance was a 27:26 that placed him sixth among the Eagles' contingent and 80th overall out of 309 runners at the Southeast Classic ... Clocked a 27:30, 28th out of 133 entries, at the Berry College Invitational ... Also competed  in the Sewanee Invitational (29:28), Griak Invitational (28:03) and JSU Foothills Invitational (27:41).

High School:
Competed four years in cross country and three years in track at Westminster High School ... Was coached by Joe Tribble ... Served as his cross country team's captain his senior year ... Clocked a 5K time of 16:45 his senior year ... Was part of a program that captured four straight Class AA state championships ... As a senior he paced his team and finished fouth overall at the cross country Class AA State Championships.

Personal:
Son of James and Terri Cooke ... Majors in biology ... National Honor Society member ... Served as his high school's band president.
