Enjoyed a fine first year in the program, running in seven competitions and scoring for the Eagles on six occasions ... Named the team's Rookie of the Year Award winner ... Helped Emory to a second-place finish out of 16 teams at the Furman Classic with a season-best 8K time of 25:27 that ranked first on the squad and eighth overall out of 142 runners ... Competed at the NCAA South/Southeast Region Championships ... Second on the team and 23rd out of 75 entires at the UAA Championships with a time of 26:12 that represented his second-best effort of the season ... Clocked a  26:41 at the Charlotte Invitational that was third on the team and 22nd out of 115 competitors ... Second among the Emory contingent and ninth in a 93-runner field at the 8K Sewanee Invitational.

Earned three letters in both cross country and track and field at Lord Boteourt High School ... Served as team captain his junior and senior seasons ... Was coached by Peter Walton ... Finished in the No. 8 spot out of 140 runners at the 2012 AA State Championship Meet with a personal-best time of 16:09 in the 5000 meters ... Was named his cross country's team MVP ... Finished runner-up in the Region 3 Championship ...  Posted a seventh-place finish in the 3200 meters at the 2013 AA Outdoor State Championship with a personal-bets time of 9:39 ... Top effort in the 1600 meters (outdoor) was a 4:24 his final year.
