Senior Lukas Mees paced the Emory men's cross country team at the University Athletic Association Championships.

Mees was the first Eagle and second out of 76 entries to cross the finish line, posting a personal-best 8K time of 25:02.  It represented the sixth time in as many outings this season that Mees had finished as the team's No. 1 performer.

His runner-up performance enabled him to bring home First Team All-UAA honors, the first Emory runner to earn that distinction since 2009 (Charlie Meade and Paul Winterhalter).

Emory recorded a fifth-place finish at the Championships, registering 122 points.
