Senior Lukas Mees helped the 30th-ranked men's cross country team to a third-place finish out of 19 squads in the NCAA Division II, III and NAIA competition at the Furman Classic.
Mees led the men’s effort, registering a personal-best 8K time of 25:30 en route to a fifth-place finish out of 174 entries. His performance aided in the Eagles finishing with 102 points, trailing only No. 1 finisher Lee University (74 pts.) and runner-up Georgia College and State (97 pts.).
