Lukas Mees sparked the No. 34-ranked men's cross country team to a first-place finish in the White Division at the JSU Foothills Invitational.
For the second straight meet and third on the year, Mees crossed the finish line in the No. 1 position, leading the 47-runner field with an 8K time of 25:35. It was the fourth consecutive time this season that he ranked as the Eagles' No. 1 runner.
His performance helped Emory record the top four overall individual finishers and the team to 16 points, well ahead of runner-up Birmingham Southern who finished with 46 points.
