Junior Melody Carter highlighted the Eagles' offensive attack in a doubleheader sweep over intra-city foe Agnes Scott College.

Carter hit .833 over the two games, collecting five hits in six trips to the plate and scoring four runs while totaling four RBIs.  In an 8-1 opening-game triumph over the Scotties, Carter posted a 3-for-4 hitting effort that included a grand slam that drove in the game-winning run. It was her third round tripper of the season.  In a 9-1 victory in the finale,  Carter came through with a pair of hits in as many trips to the plate and scored three runs, including the game-winner.  

Carter is hitting .284 on the year and has registered nine multi-hit contests.
