Junior catcher Kristi Colussi helped the Eagles to a split of a doubleheader at Covenant College (Mar. 11) in their opening action of the 2021 campaign.

Colussi hit .857 with six hits in seven trips to the plate.  She tied for the team lead by scoring four runs and her .900 on-base percentage ranked first on the club. In a 15-4 opening-game win, she went 3-for-4 at the plate and crossed the plate three times.  In the nightcap, Colussi hit safely in all three plate appearances and drove in a run.
