John Thomas joined the Emory softball program starting in the 2009-10 school year.

Thomas joined the Eagles having served as an assistant coach at West Springfield High School in Virginia from 2003-09, helping the program to Patriot District championships in 2003 and 2009.   

In addition, he has coached with various teams of the nationally prominent Shamrocks of the American Softball Association from 2003 through 2008.
