Sophomore Hannah Lilly averaged 25.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and
5.0 steals in helping the Eagles to home victories over Carnegie
Mellon and Case. Lilly totaled a game-high 26 points, hitting
10-of-17 from the field, including six-of-11 from three-point
range, in helping Emory to a 59-55 decision over Carnegie
Mellon. In addition, she picked off four rebounds and totaled
a team-high tying five steals. The 5-foot-8 Lilly followed
that performance with a game-high 24 points, her fourth straight
outing of 20 or more points, in sparking the Eagles to a 68-56
victory over Case on Sunday. She converted eight-of-16 from
the field and knocked down all six of her free throw opportunities
as Emory captured its fourth straight contest while raising its
overall record to 13-3. Lilly also posted another five-steals
outing (team high) against the Tartans, her 10th effort
of multiple thefts this year. In the two games, Lilly was
successful on 54.5 percent (18-of-33) from the floor including 42.1
percent (8-of-19) from beyond the arc.
She is the first Emory player since Mandy Jackson (1992) to have
scored 20 or more points in four consecutive games.
