Senior Misha Jackson averaged team highs in points (12.5 ppg), rebounds (10.5 rpg) and field goal percentage (.556) in leading the Emory women's basketball team to a pair of wins that allowed it to remain tied for the top spot in the UAA.
After tying for game honors with nine rebounds and registering three blocked shots in a 62-61 overtime win vs. Case Western, Jackson chalked up her UAA-leading eighth double-double of the season, leading all players with 19 points and 12 boards in a 76-55 win over Carnegie Mellon. Jackson sank seven-of-10 from the floor and five-of-seven from the charity stripe against the Tartans in notching her 17th double-figure scoring game of the campaign. Her rebound total marked the eighth straight game that she had led for the team's rebounding lead.
Heading into a Feb. 23 game vs. Rochester, Jackson is third on the team in scoring (11.3 ppg) and paces the team in both rebounding (9.2 rpg) and field goal percentage.
