Junior Khadijah Sayyid led the women's basketball team in
scoring and steals over a pair of UAA contests.
Sayyid averaged 9.5 points and 3.0 steals in games vs. the
University of Chicago and No. 6-ranked Washington University.
Sayyid totaled eight points, second high on the squad, and came up
with a pair of steals against Chicago before pacing the team in
scoring with 11 points, her 16th double-figure outing of the
campaign, and registering four steals vs. Chicago.
Sayyid, who has a 24-game streak with at least one steal to her
credit, ranks third in the UAA in that category with a 2.6
per-game average, In addition, she is fourth on the
conference chart in scoring (14.3 ppg).
