Sophomore Dumebi Egbuna turned in a pair of solid all-around outings in helping the Emory women's basketball team to wins over LaGrange College and Methodist University.

Egbuna was third on the club in scoring (9.5 ppg) and first in both rebounding (8.0 rpg) and blocked shots (1.5 rpg).  She shot 50 percent (8-of-16) from the floor over the two contests in helping the Eagles boost their record to 4-1.  

In a 64-47 decision over LaGrange, Egbuna tied for second on the team with 11 points, which included five-of-seven field goal shooting, while grabbing a squad-best six rebounds. She followed that performance by topping all players with a career-high tying 10 boards, while totaling eight points, in a 58-44 triumph over Methodist.
