Sophomore Dumebi Egbuna led the team in scoring average and was second in rebounding as the Emory women's basketball team split a pair of home games.

Egbuna averaged 12.0 points and 5.0 rebounds in contests that saw Emory top Chicago before coming out on the short end of a hard-fought battle to No. 9 Washington University.  She closed out the weekend shooting 90 percent (9 of 10) from the field  while making six free throws in 10 attempts.

The highlight of the weekend came in the Wash U game when Egbuna totaled a career-high 19 points, sinking seven-of-eight from the floor along with five free throws.  It represented her sixth double-digit scoring performance of the season.  In addition, she led the team in rebounding for the seventh time this year when she finished with seven boards.
