Senior Khadijah Sayyid tied for the team scoring lead over a three-game stretch that saw the Eagles post a 2-1 record.

Sayyid averaged 12.7 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals as Emory closed out the week with an overall mark of 8-2.  Sayyid paced the team in scoring in a pair of games, totaling 15 against Birmingham Southern and 17 (15 coming in the second half) in a 59-51 triumph over No. 20-ranked Maryville Colllege.   Included in her offensive totals was a 47.6 percent mark (10 of 21) from three-point range.  

Sayyid continued a pair of impressive streaks, coming up with at least one steal in all three outings, boosting her streak to 37 games with at least one theft. In addition, she converted at least one three-point field in each of the three contests, and  now has a 14-game streak (ninth longest in program history) with a trey to her credit.
