Sophomore Fran Sweeney ranked third on the team in scoring and first in field goal percentage as the Eagles battled a pair of UAA foes on the road.

In games at Carnegie Mellon and Case Western Reserve, Sweeney averaged 10.0 points, shot 58.3 percent (7 of 12) from the floor and converted six treys in nine opportunities.

The highlight of her weekend was a team-high 14 point effort against the Spartans of CWRU that saw the Norristown, PA, native sink five of her seven field goal opportunities including four triples in six tries.  It marked her 10th double-figure scoring performance of the season and ran her streak to 12 games with at least one three pointer to her credit.

Through games played Feb. 21, Sweeney paces the team and is fifth among UAA players in three-point percentage (.392, 51 of 130).
