Ashley Oldshue

Sophomore Ashley Oldshue led the Emory women's basketball team in scoring, rebounding and field goal percentage as the Eagles split a pair of home games.


Oldshue averaged 18.0 points and 7.5 rebounds in contests against Case Western Reserve and Carnegie Mellon. She connected on 48.3 percent (14 of 29) from the floor and 80 percent (8 of 10) from the charity stripe.  

Oldshue paced the Emory scoring attack with 21 points, her fifth performance of 20 or more points this season, helping the Eagles to a 79-67 verdict over Case Western Reserve. She hit on eight-of-15 field goal attempts and was successful on all five of her free throw opportunities.  In addition, she led all players with eight rebounds, six of which came on the offensive end of the floor.  She followed that outing by once again leading the Eagles in scoring, totaling 15 points against Carnegie Mellon. She grabbed a team-high seven boards, marking the 11th time this year that she either led or tied for team honors in rebounding. 

Oldshue, has recorded a team-high 23 double-figure scoring performances this year and ranks as the team's scoring leader at 16.5 points per game, good for fifth place on the UAA ladder.  She is averaging 7.2 boards per contest, sixth on the league ladder.
