Senior Ashley Oldshue sparked the Emory women's basketball team a victory over the University of Rochester in the regular-season finale for both squads.
The 6-foot-2 Oldshue paced all players with 24 points, knocking down a career-high 12 field goals in 15 attempts, as the Eagles defeated the Yellowjackets, 78-54, to raise their overall record to 19-6, 10-4 in the league. Oldshue's point total represented her 23rd double-figure scoring effort of the campaign and seventh of 20 or more points. In addition, she grabbed a game-high nine rebounds, the 14th time this year that she ranked as the club's top performer in that category.
At the close of the regular season, Oldshue stood fourth among UAA cagers in scoring (16.4 ppg), fifth in rebounding (8.1 rpg) and first in field goal percentage (.553).
