Emory University senior Allison Chernow was named the University Athletic Association Co-Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week after leading the Eagles a win over Rochester Saturday afternoon in Atlanta.

Chernow produced a season-high 20 points to lead the Eagles to a 21-point victory over Yellowjackets, 86-65. She finished 8-for-10 from the field and was 3-for-3 from the line as Emory won its fifth game in a row to improve to 10-2. She added a team-high six rebounds and had one assist, block and steal each in the win.

For the season, Chernow ranks fourth on the team with a 10.3 points per game average while adding 4.6 rebounds per game, 32 assists and 10 steals.

The Eagles return to action this weekend on the road as the teams takes on NYU and Brandeis University.
