Emory University head women's basketball coach Misha Jackson has announced that five freshmen will join the program for the 2020-21 academic year.
The Class of 2024 includes: Jayden Baltuch, Paige Gross, Mina Loudermilk, Izzy Munson and Maya Thompson.
Emory closed out the 2019-20 campaign with an overall record of 19-6 and tied for second place in the University Athletic Association with a mark of 10-4.
In Jackson's three years at the helm the Eagles stand 51-25, 27-15 in the league.

Jayden Baltuch (5-4, G, Warren, NJ/Watchung Hills Regional HS) – Played four years of basketball at Watchung Hills Regional High School … Was coached by Maurice Kirchofer … Team captain as a senior … Averaged 8.0 points and 3.0 assists per contest her final season … Captured all-conference accolades on three occasions … Honorable Mention All-Area pick her final campaign … Helped WHRHS to three conference crowns and an overall slate of 81-27 during her career … Member of the National Language Honor Society (Chinese).
Paige Gross (5-10, F, Chicago, IL/Saint Ignatius College Prep) – Four-year veteran of the basketball program at Saint Ignatius College Prep … Cara Doyle served as her head coach … Team captain during the 2019-20 season … Played in all 34 contests her final campaign and averaged 12.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game … As a junior, she helped her team to a 22-12 record and 4A regional title, averaging 8.0 points and 5.0 boards … 2020 pick to conference and state teams … Earned Honors with Distinction acclaim all four years … Academic All-Conference as a junior and senior.
Mina Loudermilk (5-11, F, Atlanta, GA/Atlanta International School) – Played four seasons at the Atlanta International School where she was mentored by Willie Richardson … Team captain as a junior and senior … Averaged 16.0 points her final season … Three-time all-region honoree … Also played volleyball and was a member of the track and field team while at AIS.
Izzy Munson (5-8, G, Boulder, CO/Fairview HS) – Four-year member of the basketball program at Fairview High School … Was coached by Rod Beauchamp … Served as team captain during her junior and season seasons … Ranked seventh in the state as a senior with a scoring average of 21.7 points per game … Also averaged 5.5 boards and 3.4 steals per outing in helping Fairview to a spot in the Round of 16 of the state tourney … Her final year saw her total a school-record 538 points … Was tabbed as BoCoPreps.com Player of the Year … Garnered first-team acclaim on the all-conference team in 2019 and 2020 … Tossed in 14.6 points per contest during her junior season … Wrapped up her career with 1,250 points … First-Team All-Academic honoree all four years.
Maya Thompson (5-10, G, Manassas, VA/Episcopal HS) – Played her last two seasons of high school basketball for Episcopal after beginning her prep career at Colgan High School … Was coached at Episcopal by Katrina Reed … Solid senior year saw bring home a berth on the All-NOVA Private High School Girls Team after averaging 10.4 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals per game … All-ISL AA Division selection as a senior … Two-time MVP of the St. Stephens/St. Agnes Tournament … Averaged 11.0 points and 3.3 caroms as a junior … High List Award in 2018-19 and 2019-20 … While at Colgan High School, she was named that program's Most Improved Player and Outstanding Defensive Player.
