Junior (2021-22):

In her second full season with the Eagles, Auza proved to be a defensive stalwart and a jack-of-all-trades on offense for Emory… Played in 23 of 24 possible games and drew the starting assignment in 20… Auza led the conference in steals per game, generating 2.7 per contest which is the fifth best mark in a season in program history… After finishing the season with at least one steal in each contest she played in, her 61 steals marked the eighth most steals in a season in program history… Tied for the team lead in blocks per game averaging one swat each match… Played bigger than her size on the glass, averaging 5.8 rebounds per game the third highest mark on the team… Averaged 5.9 points per contest while also tallying 38 assists, five three pointers made and 23 blocks on the season… Exploded for a career-high and second best mark by an Eagle eight steals in Emory’s overtime loss to Case Western Reserve (Feb. 18) where she also scored a season-high 19 points and pulled down 10 boards… Set a career-best mark with three blocks in an Eagles defeat at the hands of No. 2 ranked East Texas Baptist (Nov. 19)… In one of her best shooting nights of the season, Auza scored 15 points on 6-8 shooting in a win over Piedmont (Feb. 16)… Pulled down 11 rebounds including a season-high six offensive boards to help the Eagles secure a big win over Rhodes (Dec. 4).

 

Freshman (2019-20):

Was a solid contributor for the Eagles during her freshman season, playing in every game and drawing two starting assignments…Averaged 11.8 minutes per game and 3.4 points per contest…Led the Eagles with a 46.1 FG-percentage and finished second on the team with 28 steals…Found the scoring column in 20 of her 25 appearances, notching a season-high of 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting in the team’s win at Carnegie Mellon on Feb. 21…Stuffed the stat sheet with six points and season-highs of eight rebounds and four steals in a season-best 27 minutes at Agnes Scott on Dec. 10…Dished out a season-high four assists while adding seven rebounds, three steals and seven points in her first career start against Berry on Dec. 30.

Four-year member of the basketball program at McLean High School ... Was coached by Jen Sobota ... Team captain as a junior and senior ...
