Emory University graduate student Claire Brock was named the University Athletic Association Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for a third time this season after leading the Eagles to a 2-0 weekend at home against Case Western Reserve and Carnegie Mellon.

Brock continued her impressive run of late as she helped the Eagles move into sole possession of second place in the UAA with 61-55 and 62-52 wins over the Spartans and Tartans. Brock totaled 41 points on the weekend including 26 against CMU on Sunday. She went 6-for-14 in three pointers and tied a career-high with all six threes coming against the Tartans. Brock also saw action in the field going 14-for-29, good for 48.2 percent, and went 7-for-7 in free throws against Case Western Reserve on Friday. In addition to her shooting, Brock totaled 10 rebounds and five assists in the two wins.

For the season, Brock leads all UAA players with her 19.1 points per game and 45.5% from long distance.

The #10 Eagles (14-2) conclude the first half of UAA play this weekend, taking on Brandeis and #1 NYU on the road.
