The No. 10-ranked Emory women's golf team turned in a record-setting day during the opening round of the MCC Intercollegiate.  The 36-hole tourney is being played at the 5,821-yard, par-72 Montgomery Country Club in Montgomery, Alabama.

The Eagles find themselves in third place out of 10 teams after registering a program-record score of 302.  No. 2 Methodist tops the field at six-over par 294 while No. 3 Centre holds down second place after compiling a nine-over 297.  No. 4 Carnegie Mellon and No. 14 Rhodes are deadlocked for fourth place at 312.
