Emory University goalkeeper Kirsten Baecher allowed just one goal over 200 minutes played for the Eagles last week. Baecher earned the first shutout of her career during Emory's 3-0 win over Millsaps College, making two saves in the process. The junior also played all 110 minutes of the Eagles' 1-1 tie against Transylvania University, preserving the tie with eight saves during the contest. Baecher went 1-0-1 in goal with a 0.45 goals against average during the week, improving to 1-1-3 on the season with a 1.41 GAA. Her performance in goal has helped the Eagles to a 2-1-3 start to the season.
