(Soccer - Defense) Emory University defender Alyssa Perez played all 110 minutes of the Eagles' 1-1 tie against 13th-ranked Washington University (Mo.). Perez led an Emory defense that allowed 15 shots on during the double-overtime contests, only 10 of which were on goal. The junior has been a key member of the Eagles' backfield this season, which has recorded a team goals against average of 1.00 this season, including a mark of 0.67 during their recent eight-match undefeated streak. Perez has helped the team to a 4-1-4 overall record this season.
