Emory University freshman Kelly Costopoulos scored two goals, including a ‘golden goal,’ against a pair of University Athletic Association (UAA) opponents last weekend.  On Sunday afternoon, Costopoulos led Emory to a 2-1 victory in overtime against Case Western Reserve University, scoring the ‘golden goal’ just a minute and 12 seconds in the first overtime period.  On Friday, she notched the only goal of the Eagles’ 1-1 double-overtime tie against the 24^th-ranked University of Rochester, scoring in the 59^th minute of the contest to give Emory a 1-0 lead at the time.  Costopoulos, who has come off the bench in all 17 Emory games this season, is second on the squad in both goals (five) and points (11).  Her play has helped the sixth-ranked Eagles to a 13-1-3 overall record, including a 3-1-2 mark in UAA games.
