Emory University sophomore Lee Bachouros led an Eagles defense that did not allow a goal in two games this weekend.  During the Eagles’ 3-0 win over Birmingham-Southern College on Friday night, Bachouros keyed an Emory defense that allowed just one shot on goal and three total shots, en route to the shutout victory.  She contributed on the offensive end as well during the game, assisting on the game-winning goal with a well-placed corner kick, and taking three shots, two of which were on goal.  On Sunday, Bachouros and the Emory backline held Rhodes College to just five shots, only two of which were on goal, during the 2-0 victory.  She has been a major contributor to the Emory defense this season, which has recorded a 0.53 goals-against average, and held opponents to an average of 3.6 shots on goal per game.  In addition, Bachouros leads all Emory players with four assists, two of which have been on game-winning goals.  Her play during the year has helped Emory remain the only undefeated team in the UAA this season, with an overall record of 6-0-1.
