Emory University sophomore goalkeeper Kaele Leonard helped the seventh-ranked Eagles to a 2-1 win over Carnegie Mellon University in the team’s regular season finale.  Leonard played the entire second half and overtime in goal, eventually earning the victory to improve to 10-1-3 this season.  In her 47 minutes and six seconds in the net, she made three saves, en route to her 12th scoreless appearance in 16 games this season.  Leonard finishes the regular season with a 0.41 goals against average and a .909 save percentage, the best marks among all University Athletic Association (UAA) keepers.  Leonard’s performance this season has helped the Eagles to a 14-1-3 overall record, including a second-place finish in the UAA with a 4-1-2 record in conference matches.
