Emory University senior Melanie Levy scored the game winning goal during both of the Eagles’ wins at the Roanoke College Invitational.  Levy notched the first ‘golden goal’ of her career in the 97^th minute of Emory’s 2-1 upset victory over fourth-ranked Lynchburg College.  The previous day, it was the forward’s header strike off a corner kick in the 63^rd minute against Roanoke College that lifted Emory to a 1-0 victory.  Levy was also a contributor during Emory’s 2-1 double overtime win against Lee University, the top-ranked team in the NAIA, taking one shot in the first overtime period.  Dating back to the final three games of last season, Levy, an Emory co-captain, has scored the game-winning goal in five of the last six Emory games, and has scored six total goals during that stretch.  Her performance has helped Emory to a 3-0-0 start, making the Eagles the only undefeated and untied team left in the University Athletic Association (UAA) this season.
