(Soccer – Offense) Emory University senior midfielder Meghan McMahon scored the ‘golden goal’ during the seventh-ranked Eagles’ 1-0 double-overtime victory over 19th-ranked Lynchburg College in the second round of the NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer Championships.  McMahon broke a scoreless tie in the 104th minute, scoring off a shot from outside the box after a cross from Lauren Drosick.  The goal was the first of the season for the midfielder, and the team’s fifth ‘golden goal’ of the year, a program record.  McMahon and the Eagles have advanced to the third round of the NCAA tournament, where they will face Wheaton College (Ill.) in Abilene, TX.
