Senior (2011):
Coates capped off her Emory career with her first post-season honor, earning an honorable mention to the all-University Athletic Association (UAA) team. The second-year co-captain started all 19 games she played in during the year, finishing the campaign with career highs with two goals and four assists for eight points. All four of her assists came in conference play, ranking her second in UAA assists and 10th with four points. She led all Eagles during the season with three game-winning assists, coming against Washington University (Mo.) on October 9th, Case Western Reserve University on October 14th, and Brandeis University on October 28th. Coates added on a second assist in the Brandeis game, the only multiple-assist game of her career. She finished the year with 17 shots, 12 of which were on goal, giving her a .706 shot on goal percentage, the highest mark among Emory players with at least 10 shots. Coates finished her Emory career with four goals and five assists for 13 points, coming over 77 games played (tied for the fifth-most in Emory history) and 52 starts.
Junior (2010):
Coates tied a school record by playing in all 22 Emory games during the season, starting all but one contest. The forward assisted on one goal during the year, coming during the Eagles' 2-0 win over Brandeis University on October 17th. She took 21 shots during the year, 13 of which were on goal.
Sophomore (2009):
During her sophomore season, Coates played in 17 games for Emory, making eight starts, including six-straight to end the season. Her first collegiate score came in dramatic fashion, as she led the Eagles to a 2-1 win at Birmingham Southern College on September 22nd, scoring with a second left in the first overtime period. Coates became the first player in school history to record a 'golden goal' as her first career goal. She also scored a goal during Emory's 4-2 loss to Brandeis University on October 18th. Coates took 14 shots during the season, eight of which were on goal.
Freshman (2008):
Coates played in 19 games for the Eagles during the 2008 campaign, making four starts during her first year on the squad. The freshman midfielder took five shots during the season, two of which were on goal. She also contributed to an Emory defense that ranked 23rd in Division III with a 0.553 goals-against average.

Played four seasons on the Cherry Creek High School soccer team,
where she was coached by David Paynter. Accumulated 11 goals and 19
assists over her 50-game high school career. Was an Athletic Award
finalist prior to arriving at Emory. Also played for club team
Littleton United, where she was coached by Steve Ekman.
