Freshman (2012):

Morell was one of 12 Eagles, and the only freshman, to appear in all 24 of Emory's games during the season.  Of her four starts, two came during the NCAA Championships, against Centre College in the second round, and Wheaton College (Ill.) in the semifinals.  The midfielder finished the campaign with two goals and two assists for a total of six points.  Both of her assists came during conference play, including one on the game-winning goal against the University of Rochester on October 14th.  Morell scored her first collegiate goal during the Eagles' 9-0 win over the University of the South on September 15th.  She also notched a goal against Covenant College on October 22nd, helping the team to a 3-0 win.  Morell finished the year with 10 shots, six of which were on goal.

Prior to Emory:

Played for the Centennial High School soccer team for four years... Was named to the All-Region team in 2011 and 2012, and earned her team's Offensive Most Valuable Player award in 2011... Was coached by Jeff Burch in high school... Also played club soccer for the United Futbol Academy, where she was coached by Iggy Moleka... Helped her club team to state championships in 2009, 2011 and 2012, Region 3 Premier League Championships in 2010 and 2011, and to the regional finals in 2010... Also ran cross country in high school.

Personal:

Born May 23, 1994... Worked as a camp counselor over the summer... Was her high school's student council president and winner of the Principal's Leadership Award.
