Junior (2012):

Romero emerged as a top offensive threat for the Eagles during the 2012 season, leading the team with eight goals and 20 points, while also assisting on four goals during the year, all career-best marks.  For her efforts, she was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-South Atlantic Region Third Team.  In addition, the forward was a First Team All-University Athletic Association (UAA) selection, after finishing second in the conference with four goals and third with nine points in league games.  Romero registered a career day against Washington University (Mo.) on October 7th, scoring both goals in a 2-2 tie, including the game-tying score with under a minute left in regulation.  She also had a pair of game-winning goals in conference games, coming against the University of Chicago on September 29th and Case Western Reserve University on October 12th.  Romero's third game-winning goal of the year came during the Eagles' opening game of the NCAA Tournament, helping the team to a 2-0 win over DePauw University.  She was named the UAA Athlete of the Week on September 17th, after scoring a goal and assisted on three others against the University of the South.  Romero has scored 11 goals and assisted on 10 other for 32 points during her career, and her five game-winning goals are tied for the 19th-most in the program's history.

Sophomore (2011):

Romero played in 18 games during the season, making 12 starts.  She scored one goal during the season, coming against Maryville College on September 18th, and assisted on two others.  Both of her assists came during the Eagles' 2-0 win over Centre College during the second round of the NCAA Tournament, including one on the game-winning goal.  Romero took 15 shots during the season, seven of which were on goal.

Freshman (2010):

Romero came off the bench in all 22 Emory games during the 2010 season, finishing the campaign with two goals and four assists for eight points.  Both of her goals during the year were game winners, coming during the team's 2-1 victory over Bridgewater College on September 11th, and the 2-0 win over Berry College on October 23rd.  Romero also assisted on the game-winning goal during the Eagles' 2-0 win over Brandeis University on October 17th.  She took 31 shots during the season, 15 of which were on goal.

Played on the Saint Pius X Catholic High School soccer team for four seasons, where she was coached by Sara Geiger... Played club soccer for the Cobb Futbol Club East, serving as the team captain... Was coached on her club team by Joe McNab... Also played basketball in high school.
