Emory University junior Liz Arnold recorded a pair of shutouts in goal, leading the fifth-ranked Eagles to a pair of road wins. Arnold played a combined 199 minutes and five seconds during the week, making eight saves without yielding a goal. On Saturday, the goalkeeper played all 90 minutes in a 3-0 win over Transylvania University, turning away the only shot on goal she faced. She followed that by matching her career-high with seven saves in a 1-0 double overtime win against Centre College on Sunday, including five overtime saves and three in the second-overtime period alone. For the year, Arnold is 6-0-2 with four individual shutouts, a 0.36 goals-against average and a .880 save percentage. In addition, she moved into sole possession of fifth-place in school history with 10 career shutouts. Arnold and the Eagles remained one of the eight undefeated teams in Division III with a 6-0-2 overall record in 2014.
