Emory University senior Emily Feldman scored the team’s only goal during the seventh-ranked Eagles 1-1 double-overtime tie with top-ranked Trinity University (Tex.). Feldman struck in the 18th minute of action, beating the Trinity keeper to a long ball forward and placing it into the back of the net for her first goal of the season. The forward started and played 74 minutes in the game, taking a game-high three shots, including the one on goal. The goal was the 21st of Feldman's career, tying her for the ninth-most in school history, and her 54 career points are tied for the 14th-most in the program's history. Feldman and the Eagles have opened the 2014 season with a 1-0-2 record.
