Emory University sophomore Elizabeth Aronoff recorded an NCAA ‘B’ cut time in the 200-yard breaststroke during the top-ranked Eagles dual meet against the University of Georgia, ranked second among Division I teams. Aronoff finished third in the event with a time of 2:21.41, the best time this season by an Eagle and good for an NCAA provisional qualifying time. She also swam the breaststroke leg of the Eagles’ fifth-place 400-yard medley relay team, which finished in a mark of 4:01.09. The Eagles suffered a 130-97 loss to the Lady Bulldogs, falling to 2-2 on the season.
