Emory University junior Lexi Tutor notched a first-place finish and an NCAA ‘B’ cut time at the Midwest Invitational, hosted by the University of Chicago last Friday and Saturday. Tutor claimed the win in the 200-yard breaststroke, registering an NCAA provisional qualifying time of 2:22.74. She also added a time of 1:07.78 in the time trials of the 100-yard breaststroke. Tutor’s effort helped the top-ranked Eagles win the Midwest Invitational with 356 points.
