Prior to Emory:

Spent her freshman season at the University of North Florida, setting UNF records in the 400 and 800 Freestyle relays...Before UNF, she was a four-year letterwinner at Forsyth Central competing in freestyle and backstroke events...Named MVP four times and was an All-County honoree.
