Emory University’s Lorne McManigle won her singles and doubles matches during the Eagles’ 7-2 win over Brenau University on Sunday. McManigle claimed a come from behind 4-6, 7-5, 10-5 win in the second singles match over the 46th-ranked NAIA player in the country. In the first doubles match, the junior teamed with Zahra Dawson to earn an 8-6 victory over their counterparts, ranked 10th in the NAIA. McManigle, currently ranked second in the NCAA Division III Atlantic South Region in singles and third in doubles, improved to 14-11 in singles matches and to 17-10 in doubles matches this season. Her efforts during the year have helped the fourth-ranked Eagles to an 18-5 overall record.
