Freshman (2010-11):

Padmanabhan earned all-University Athletic Association (UAA) first team honors for her play both as the Eagles fifth singles player and as part of the third doubles team with Brenna Kelly.  Padmanabhan was 22-8 in singles play during her inaugural campaign for Emory, including a mark of 9-3 at fifth singles, where she played the majority of the time.  She was also 5-1 in tournament action during the season.  In doubles matches, Padmanabhan was 23-5 during the year, including a 22-3 mark when teamed with Kelly in the spring season, and 17-2 in third doubles matches.  She reached the round of 16 of the singles bracket at the USTA/ITA Fall South Region Championships, before falling to teammate and eventual champion Zahra Dawson.

Played on the Saratoga High School tennis team for four seasons, serving as the team captain during her senior year... Played first and second singles throughout her career... Named a CSS Student Athlete in 2009... Helped her team to a league championship in 2009, and to the league finals in 2008... Coached by Tom Uehehara in high school.
