Sophomore Ysabel Gonzalez-Rico closed out her sophomore season in grand style on Sunday as she captured the NCAA Division III women's singles national championship with a straight sets decision over Wesleyan's Venia Yeung. Gonzalez-Rico won four of her five matches in straight sets en route to the title and was a combined 7-0 in singles during the week in Kalamazoo. Gonzalez-Rico added a quarterfinal run at the individual championships playing with Defne Olcay with the duo posting a combined 2-2 record at Kalamazoo.
