Emory University freshman Jessica Fatemi was named the University Athletic Association's Women's Tennis Co-Athlete of the Week on Monday afternoon. It is her second career weekly honor.

Fatemi ran her singles winning streak to 14 straight matches as she went 2-0 with straight set wins against foes from both No.-7 ranked Tufts (6-3, 6-1) and No.-5 ranked Middlebury (6-0, 6-3). She added a doubles win on Friday vs. the Jumbos, teaming with classmate Emma Cartledge to win 8-2 on court two. The Eagles as a team went 1-1 for the week against top-10 competition.

For the season, Fatemi ranks second on the team with 18 singles victories, posting an 18-2 overall record including an 11-0 mark in dual matches.

The Eagles will be back on the courts this Saturday against crosstown foe Georgia State University in the first of three against non-Division III opponents. First serve is set for 2:00 PM at GSU.
